Does your tile have
calcium deposits at the waterline?
The 300 Tile Cleaner is the best calcium/scale remover available. After removing scale buildup the tile can start to lose some of its shine, please follow the steps below to eliminate the calcium/scale and make your pool tile look like new.
Our recommendation for cleaning tile:
- Step 1, Protect-All Supreme or (Salt Protect for a salt water pools)
- Raise your water line up and over the calcium/scale deposits.
- Pour in the product (one quart per 20,000 gallons) around the perimeter, in the pool water.
- Turn on our pump and let it run for 48 hours, keeping the water line above the scale line.
This product will help to loosen the scale for easier cleaning.
- Step 2, Three - four days after Step 1
- Lower the water line to just below the calcium/scale and clean the tile with the 300 Tile Cleaner in small sections at a time.
- Apply, let dwell (checking after one minute+) then scrub with a Scotch Brite pad and rinse well before moving to the next section. Note: working in small 3-4 ft. sections at a time should prevent the product from being left on too long and drying. If
left on the tile to long or left to sit on clean tile, it will remove the glaze.
- Step 3, After completely cleaning the tile and it looks perfect and clean when it's wet
- Let your tile dry completely and apply TPS PROTECTANT and Restorative. This product will restore all of the shine back to your tile and will give it a "wet look". It is a terrific sealer and will last a year. It cannot be removed after it's applied. It won't peel, yellow or chip and will make your tile look new again. It will also help to protect your tile and make it easier to clean.
- Keep a maintenance dose of the Protect-All Supreme in your water (12 oz per month or 3-4 oz per week, per 20,000 gallons) and it should prevent the scale buildup.
- Step 4, Use Quick 'n Thick Tile Cleaner for maintenance cleaning.

It’s important not to over use anti-foam products. Anti-form products knock down the foaming but they do not eliminate the source of the problem - oils, soaps etc. By adding an enzyme product like Bio-Dex's OIL-OUT with the anti-foam product you can take care of the complete issue.

Should I expect to see the measured copper content of my
pool decrease after adding Protect-All Supreme?
When pool water shows a metal content of .2ppm or above it is advisable to add Protect-All Supreme weekly or biweekly.
The product is formulated to grab the metal and keep it in solution and help filter it out of the pool. It is best to run the filter for at least 24 hours after adding the product to remove as much out of the pool as possible. It will also prevent and remove scale buildup and staining. For copper stains it is recommended that you use AQUADEX 50 STAIN-OFF along with Protect-All Supreme for best results. The AQUADEX 50 STAIN-OFF will remove the stains and pull the copper off of the walls and the Protect-All Supreme will grab the copper and good filtration will help to remove it. ZEO BRITE or other ZEO LITE filter media added to a sand filter will dramatically increase the fast removal of copper that has been tied up.
